FTJ2 is under construction, thanks for helping us test!

How to Stream

FTJ2 lets you broadcast live with any standard streaming app (OBS, Streamlabs, vMix, and others). Here's the whole process.

1. Open the Go Live page

Go to Go Live. Create a stream and give it a title. Tags, a description, and a thumbnail are optional — you can add or change them anytime.

2. Copy your connection details

On the Go Live page you'll see your RTMP Server, your Stream Key, and an HLS Playback URL. Click any field to copy it.

Your Stream Key is a password for your channel. Never share it or show it on screen. If it leaks, click Regenerate Stream Key — the old key stops working immediately.

3. Set up OBS

  1. Open OBS → SettingsStream.
  2. Service: choose Custom....
  3. Server: rtmp://ftj2.floodshow.live/live.
  4. Stream Key: paste the key from your Go Live page.
  5. Click OK.

4. Recommended encoding settings

  • Resolution / FPS: 1080p60 (drop to 720p if your upload is limited).
  • Bitrate: 5,500–6,500 kbps video.
  • Audio: AAC, 128 kbps.
  • Keyframe interval: 2 seconds.

5. Go live

Press Start Streaming in OBS. Within a few seconds your stream goes live on FTJ2 and appears in Now Playing on the homepage and your channel. Viewers can watch and use live chat right away.

6. When you finish

Press Stop Streaming in OBS, or end the stream from FTJ2. A replay is saved to your channel automatically, so viewers who missed it can catch up.

Prefer to keep streaming on another platform like Rumble? You can show that player on FTJ2 instead — see How to Embed a Stream.
